Illustrated with five folding maps and plans to the rear. Collated, complete. 

George Hooper's historical account of Napoleon's downfall at the Battle of Waterloo. The work provides a history of Napoleon's relation to Europe in 1815, and an analysis of the battle including the preparations, the opening of the campaign, and Wellington's win.

In the publisher's original gilt cloth.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, minor rubbing to the extremities, with small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine, and closed tears to the head and tails of the joints. Bookplate of 'Chas Gallup' to the front pastedown. Internally pp.209-224 starting, otherwise firmly bound with clean and generally bright pages. The odd page unopened.
