A beautifully bound copy of this very scarce work on flowers, birds, and insects. In red cloth with gilt decoration.

Undated; dated from a copy held at the British Library.

Illustrated throughout with more than sixty black and white engravings. Also with various sonnets for each month. 

This work details the wild flowers, birds, and insects associated with each month and season of the year, with poems for each.

Contains four pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work.

Condition

In red cloth binding with gilt decoration. Externally, very smart with shelf wear to spine head and tail, and extremities. Fading to spine. The odd handling mark to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Front hinge very slightly beginning to strain. Pages clean but age toned. Extensive contemporary ink inscription to front free endpaper. Contains four pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work.
