This work offers a comprehensive history of the Fitzgerald family, who ruled Kildare from the late 12th century. The line originated from a Welsh Norman noble family who arrived in Ireland during the Norman invasion.
To the rear are two folding plates of charts showing the complete breakdown of the family line.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Bumping to the extremities and fading to the spine. Marks to the spine and boards. Internally, firmly bound. With scattered spotting to the endpapers and the odd spot throughout, other generally bright and clean. Contemporary ink inscription to the front free endpaper.
