Aimed at documenting the evangelistic visits of “Bible-women” among London’s poorest communities, providing insight into the evangelical outreach within London, particularly through female-driven ministry and grassroots mission work. With chapters on "The London Heathen and Their Missionaries," "The Bible‑Woman Among the Dust‑Heaps," and "Sketches from Life in the Seven Dials."
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. one or two very slight handling marks to boards. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Front hinge cracked, with binding materials partially exposed, but holding firm. Tissue guard to title page slightly creased with the odd spot. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with only one or two spots to fore edge.
