Each essay provides important information on the history of these important families, with historically documented details of their key family members and their circumstances. Written by Sir John Bernard Burke, a British genealogist and Ulster King of Arms, who helped publish Burke's Peerage.
Condition
In the original red cloth binding. Externally, worn with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spines with the odd mark to the cloth. Splits to the cloth at the joints resulting in spine lifting to volume three. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spines. Front hinge tender to volume two with hinges starting but firm to volume three. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Contemporary ink inscriptions to the endpapers with bookseller's label to the front pastedown.
