A wonderful signed work by Charles Richard Weld, a historian of the Royal Society who represented Great Britain at the Paris Exhibition of 1867.
Condition
Rebound in quarter calf, with cloth covered boards, and with endpapers renewed. Externally, excellent, with a touch of fading to back strip as is common with deep shades of calf, and minor rubbing. Internally, firmly bound. Inscribed to title page head. Pages a touch age toned to perimeters, otherwise exceptionally clean and bright.
