Sherard Osborne's account of his voyage in Malayan waters and his part in the blockade attack on Kadah, where he was in command of the gunboat. Osborn was a Royal Navy admiral and a noted Arctic explorer. The work provides a view of India in the early nineteenth century, an account of an encounter with pirates, a detailed account of the attack, a chapter on the Malay slave trade, and much more.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth, re-backed with the original spine laid down. Externally excellent with slight bumping to the extremities of the boards, and the slightest marks to the boards. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with only the odd minor handling mark.
