This two volume set features a collection of historical and critical essays written by the celebrated British historian Thomas Babington Macaulay. The essays contain topics such as 'The Life and Writings of Addison', 'Milton' and 'More's Life of Lord Byron'.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with bumping and slight rubbing to the extremities and marks to the boards. Minor offsetting to the free endpapers with a binder's label to the rear to 'Vol I'. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned and clean pages with a past owner's signature to the title pages.
