With commentary on significant landmarks, historical figures, and cultural anecdotes associated with the area. Written by Thomas Crofton Croker, an Irish antiquary, best known for his Fairy Legends and Traditions of the South of Ireland. Revised and edited by his son, Thomas Francis Dillon Croker, a British antiquary and poet. Illustrated by Frederick William Fairholt, an English antiquary and wood-engraver.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine with splits to the rear joint. Hinges tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. A contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedown.
