Oliver Goldsmith was an important and prolific Anglo-Irish author in the eighteenth century. The present work contains a collection of his works, including the important and famous work 'The Vicar of Wakefield,' miscellaneous poems, and plays 'She Stoops to Conquer' and 'The Good Natured Man.' 

Edited by Robert Aris Willmott. 

With additional engraved title page, and numerous beautiful illustrations in text by Birket Foster and H. N. Humphreys, printed in colour from wood blocks.

Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding with decorative gilt to boards and spine, gilt to edges. Externally generally smart with shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Light faint spotting to first and last few leaves, pages otherwise bright and clean.
