A charming mid nineteenth century children's work.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with fraying in these regions. Back strip age toned. Boards bright. Hinges strained, with board firmly held. Inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages age toned, with spotting throughout. Tide mark to head of each leaf. Repair to closed tear to reverse of one plate.
