    Colour Plates, First Edition, Illustrated, Very Scarce

    The first edition.

    Beautifully bound in quarter calf.

    Written in French.

    A charming volume containing the story of "Les Anges de Bonte", or "The Angels of Good", presenting the good deeds and moral nature of a group of women.

    Written by M. A. Blanchard. Wonderfully illustrated with a frontispiece and seven plates, each of which have been hand coloured. Collated, complete.

    Retaining the half title.

    Condition

    Bound in quarter calf. Externally, excellent, with light rubbing to boards. Endpapers and blanks renewed. Half title retained. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright, with scattered spotting througout and a tide mark to the lower portion of pages. Half title is slightly discoloured. Ink inscription to title page.
