A history of the religious persecution of Protestants in France, under King Louis XV, by Minister of the Reformed Church of Geneva Laurence Louis Felix Bungener (1814-1874). This work is written in three parts: A Sermon at Court; A Sermon in the City; and A Sermon in the Desert.

Bungener also wrote The Preacher and the King.

Complete in one volume.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with minor shelf wear to the extremities and fading to the spine. Small marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the first and last couple of pages.
