    Description

    Illustrated, Leather Binding, Prize Binding, Signed Binding

    Illustrated with a frontispiece and seven further plates by William Harvey. Collated, complete.

    This attractive volume includes Milton's minor poems as well as his famous epic, 'Paradise Lost'.

    In a full morocco prize binding for Trent College, signed by both Bickers & Son and Sotheran.

    Dated 1854 via the National Trust Libraries.

    Condition

    In a full morocco signed prize binding with extensive gilt detailing. A touch of rubbing to head of front joint, otherwise externally fine. Spotting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Frontispiece detached to tail, but firmly held. Spotting to frontispiece Pages a touch age toned, but otherwise bright and exceptionally clean.
