1854 Italy, A Poem
What Our Customers Say...
Description
Fine Binding, Illustrated
Samuel Rogers (1763 - 1855) found great fame as a poet during his own lifetime and was immortalised through his often biting and darkly witty conversational pieces. Now less well-remembered, he was superceded by his peers, Wordsowrth and Byron. Inspired by Rogers' travels abroad, Italy recounts his time during the country whilst on The Grand Tour. Bound by Hayday.
