    Description

    Illustrated, Leather Binding, Rebound, Uncommon

    A collection of popular stories, news, and memoirs retracing French history by highlighting the uses and customs of the era dealt with. An uncommon work. Dated via Jisc. in the original French.

    Compiled by Mme la Comtesse Drohojowska. Complete with half titles. 

    Illustrated with frontispiece and seventeen further charming plates by Mm Jules David. Collated, complete. With half title.

    Condition

    Rebound in quarter morocco over cloth covered boards, gilt lettering to spine. Externally a trifle rubbed, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities of boards. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown. Back strip rubbed and faded, boards lightly marked. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting scattered to leaves.
