Contents include 'Something about Skating', 'Merry Pranks of Robin Goodfellow', 'Hippodrome: with something about the Ancient Games', 'Copper and Copper Mines', 'Gutta Percha', 'Elephant and its Calf', and more.

Illustrated with a chromolithograph frontispiece, a chromolithograph title page, six chromolithograph plates, and in-text engravings. Collated, complete.

Four pages of adverts to the rear.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with a small amount of loss to the head of the spine. A few marks to the boards and spine. Hinges are starting but firm. Frontispiece has been adhered to the front paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with scattered spots, including to the plates.
