This history looks at the army and how they had occupied themselves from their founding up to the 1850s, a space of almost a century, and what attacks and battles they had been in.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, lacking the backstrip. Light bumping to the extremities. Cloth to the head of the front board is a little cockled. A few light marks to the cloth and a little rubbing to the rear board. Hinges are starting but firm. Faint tidemark to the front paste down and endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
