In a beautiful cartonnage binding, with gilt decorations and a colour plate to the front board. 

A French catholic devotional work dedicated to the virgin Mary, written by Abbe Carron, a French Roman Catholic priest. The work acts as a guide for young people, modelling how they should live in devotion to the mother of Jesus. 

Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece and engraved title page.

Condition

In the original cartonnage binding. Externally smart with minimal edge wear, minimal fading to the spine, the odd minor handling mark and cockling to the plate to the front board. Internally firmly bound with generally clean and bright pages with tidemarks to the front and light spotting to the front and rear. Small library stamp to the half title.
