Essays include 'Warren Hastings,' 'Lord Clive,' and 'William Pitt, the Earl of Chatham.' With separate title pages and pagination.

Condition

In half calf binding over marbled boards and edges, marbled endpapers. Externally smart with minor shelf wear, light scuffing to front board and extremities of rear. Back strip only lightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor spotting to first and last few leaves affecting only odd leaf. Pages otherwise generally very clean throughout.
