With an illustrated title page, and 56 pages of post 1866 publisher's advertisements bound to the rear of the work.
Compiled by British organist, musicologist, book collector and author Edward Francis Rimbault.
Includes an abundance of songs and ballads such as 'Margaret Meke', 'The Kynges Ballade', 'Tosse the Pot', and 'Sir Elgamore'.
Condition
In quarter black morocco binding. Externally, generally smart. Bumping to extremities, with slight cracking to the head of the spine. Rubbing to joints and boards. Small tide mark to head of endpapers, more significant to the front. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with small tide mark to top of front and rear pages. Light spotting towards the front of the work.
