This set features a collection of prose and poetry from the renowned John Milton and a biography on the life of the author by John Mitford. This collection is comprised of eight volumes, consisting of two volumes of John Milton's poetical works and six volumes of Milton's prose, including his best known epic poem, 'Paradise Lost'. 

Bound in full calf.

Condition

Bound in full calf, re-backed. Externally very smart with slight fading to the spines, slight marks to the boards, and very minimal wear to the extremities. Hinges re-enforced with bookplates of a 'Pelham-Clinton' to the front pastedowns. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with minor tidemarks to the front and rear few pages. Offsetting to title page to 'Volume I'.
