A small volume of Christian parables from the Gospel, featuring explanations of the lessons and morals taught in the works by Mathilde Bourdon. The volume features parables which teach against greed, selfishness and kindness, featuring the popular parable of 'The Good Samaritan'.
Written in French.
Illustrated with a monochrome lithographic frontispiece. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original cartonnage binding. Externally very smart with only minimal handling marks and slight fading to the spine, and very small closed tears to the head of the spine. Prize bookplate from 'Ecole Primaire Catholique' to the front pastedown, and offsetting to the pastedowns. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
