William Cowper was an English poet who was among the most popular poets of his time. He is credited with changing the direction of 18th century nature poetry by writing about scenes of every day life and the English countryside.

In a cloth binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed. Some bumping to extremities. Sunning to spine. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Editor's inscription to half title page.
