This Bible was adapted and appointed to be read in churches, as stated to the title page.
Condition
Bound in a full crushed morocco. Externally, very smart. The odd minor handling mark to baords. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in very slight loss to morocco. Slight creasing to spine. The odd spot and handling mark to endpapers. Slight fading to extremities. Front hinge cracked, with binding materials slightly exposed, but holding firm. Previous owner's contemporary ink inscription to front free endpaper dated, 1851. Previous owner's stamps to front free endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean. Scattered spotting to first and last few leaves. The odd spot and handling mark.
