Three very scarce works on the duties of the British army and strengthening outposts by Joshua Jebb. Jebb was a British officer of the Royal  Engineers who is known for his designs for prison constructions. These works provide discussions on how to strengthen outposts and infrastructure in case of attack, and the duties of the soldiers and officers during a siege.

Condition

Bound in full cloth, re-backed with the original spine laid down. Externally, very light library location to the spine, no other signs of library labels or stamps, the odd minor mark to the boards, and slight bumping to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the odd spot, heavier to the front and versos of several of the plates.
