A memorandum from the Metropolitan Police, detailing suggestions for use of special constables. Special constable was a term used for any constable not sworn into a territorial police force as a regular constable.
Dated March 8th, 1848.

Unbound, as issued. Pages are a little edge worn, with a closed tear to the tail. Pages are a little age-toned with light handling marks.
