It included timetables, railway company directories, maps, fare tables, financial statistics, lists of directors, and legislative details concerning rail transport.

The 1848 edition reflects the peak of "Railway Mania" in Britain, serving both as a travel resource and a financial guide for those involved in the expanding railway industry.

Lacking the map called for to the title page.

With a contemporary inscription to the front free endpaper head.

With advertisements to front and rear endpapers and pastedowns.

Condition
