The first edition.

A very scarce language study on Bengali, written by William Yates, an English Baptist missionary and orientalist known for his Bengali translations of the Bible. Yates' translation of the bible was met with controversy after he and his partner translated one work to align with Baptist beliefs and not every denominations values.
