Description

Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

A very scarce souvenir pamphlet containing the "diary" of a mouse, stated in the preface to have taken residency at the Monument for nearly two years at the time of printing. It is said that one may spot it "sitting by the fire, or running about during the greater part of the day". 

In the original string-bound wraps. 

This charming narrative recounts the mouse's family history and later adventures, including its journey to the Monument. 

With hours of admission to the Monument printed to the inside of the rear cover.

Condition

In the original string-bound wraps. Externally, with tide mark to the rear cover and lightly affecting the first and last couple pages. A couple additional spots and handling marks to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a couple spots to the first and last few pages.
