Collated, without the separate title pages for Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, The Tempest, Othello, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and King Henry IV, as is usual to see. Also bound without plate XI of Romeo and Juliet.
The plates depict Hamlet, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, The Tempest, Othello, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and King Henry IV.

Condition
In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, rubbed, a little heavier to the leather. Light bumping to the extremities, resulting in a little loss of leather. Extremities of the boards are a little age-toned. Institutional label to the front paste down. Stamp and ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with a tide mark to the textblock.
