Two volumes bound in one. Very scarce. This work contains: Israel & The Holy Land: "The Promised Land", 1846. In which an attempt is made to show that the old and new testaments accord in their testimony to Christ and His celestial kingdom, and in their testimony to His people, Israel, and also to the promised Holy Land. A Metrical Record of the Exeter Synod of 1851, 1851. A collection of sonnets, verses, and hymns from the Exeter Synod, by one of the members of the Diocese.
Condition
Disbound with residue from the original spine. Externally, sound with light wear to the external pages and the odd crease. Light age toning and the odd small mark to the external pages. Splitting to the spine with small closed tears to the paper. An ink mark to the front page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot or handling mark. Light age toning to the extremities.
