This standard lexicographical work of the Ancient Greek Language, often referred to as Liddell & Scott, is still widely used by students of the language.
From Henry George Liddell, headmaster of Westminster School, and Robert Scott, an academic philologist and Church of England priest.
It was most recently revised for its ninth edition of 1940.
Condition
Bound in full calf. With some archival work carried out to the head of the spine. Externally, smart, with rubbing to the extremities. Marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. With occasional spots, heaviest to the endpapers.
