Published to mark the opening of the rebuilt Royal Exchange in London after the destruction of its predecessor by fire, this work provides a detailed account of the building’s architecture, design, and decorative features, alongside descriptions of the ceremonies associated with its inauguration by Queen Victoria.

Sixteen pages of advertisements to the rear.

With the inscription of Rd. Taylor Esq. to the front free endpaper.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bump to back strip tail, and small ink mark to front board centre, otherwise externally excellent. Publisher's stamp and former owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright, with only the odd spot.
