    Description

    Very Scarce

    A very scarce work in the publisher's original cloth binding.

    A collection of sixteen religious tracts for children, each sixteen pages long and each with a hymn. The selection of tracts are taken from the Book of Genesis, the Book of Psalms, the Book of Kings, the Gospel of John, the Gospel of Mark, and the Book of Revelation.

    This work was printed by John Wertheimer & Co., Circus Place, Finsbury Circus, for the Tract Depot. John Wertheimer (1799-1883) was best known for producing books that required non-English typefaces, such as Hebrew, and predominantly printed Christian and Hebrew works.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart though faded. Gilt remains bright to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
