With a general title page dated 1846, identifying this as the Copyright Edition, and as being volume no. XCI of their 'Collection of British Authors'.
Each of the three tales in this collection features individual pagination and title pages, dated 1843, 1845 and 1846 respectively, for 'A Christmas Carol', 'The Chimes', and 'The Cricket on the Hearth'.
Illustrated with a hand coloured frontispiece to 'A Christmas Carol'. Collated, complete.
With a colportage stamp to the half title.

Condition
In a quarter morocco binding, with marbled paper covered boards. A touch of rubbing to back strip head and tail, with more significant rubbing to centre of boards. Front hinge strained, with board firmly held. Stamp to half title. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with light handling marks and the odd spot.
