John Milford's scarce account of his travels through Norway, providing interesting insight into life in Norway during the nineteenth century. The work also contains several accounts of the author's salmon fishing excursions, with descriptions of the scenery, the people and their culture, the fisherman and more. 

In the publisher's original cloth.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, closed tears to the head and tails of the joints, and light edge wear with small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine, and the odd very minimal mark to the boards. Rear hinge starting starting after the ads. Internally firmly bound with bright pages and spotting to the front and rear, generally clean otherwise. Author's ink inscription to the half title.
