'Faust' is Goethe's magnum opus, a tragic play following Doctor Faustus, a German necromancer who sells his soul to the devil, in an exchange for knowledge and power.

Translated into French by Henri Blaze.

Alongside an essay on Goethe and a commentary on the text.

Condition

In a full diced calf binding. Externally, smart with a few light marks to the boards and spine. Light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few scattered spots.
