    Second edition. Very scarce work. A collection of seven hundred handy tips for domestic management, with sections on married life, needlework, improvements, dinner etiquette, culinary implements, candles and lamps, cookery, baking, wines and beer, the nursery, accidents, sickness, servants, general economy, clothes and fashion, and more. Written by "a lady". Dated from the British Library. With the publisher's advertisements to the rear.

    Condition

    Rebacked in the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the cloth. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light spotting and light age toning. A contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
