The final plate is facing page 623 instead of 624 as stated in the list of plates. A very early issue, with issue points 'flys' for 'flies' on page 245, line 10, 'visiters' instead of 'visitors', on page 272 line 2, 'incontestible' for, 'incontestable' on page 287 line 22, 'suprise' for 'surprise' on page 586 line 24. This copy has the correct 'sister' for 'visiter' to page 123, and 'letter' for, 'latter' to page 160. The third book by Charles Dickens. Nicholas Nickleby was originally published as a serial from 1838 to 1839. The novel centres on a young man, Nicholas Nickleby, who must support his mother and sister following his father's untimely death. The half title page is present.
