The first of these works is Edward Clare's very scarce 1840 edition of the 'Beauties of Handel, arranged in a familiar style with an Accompaniment for the Piano Forte or Organ'.
Consisting of thirteen pieced by Handel and the accompanying notated music, and with an illustrated title page.

The second work is Edward Clare's very scarce 1838 work 'Sacred Harmony . Adapted to select Hymns, by Addison, Cowper, Doddridge, Mason, Watts, Wesley, and the new version of psalms [...] composed and arranged for the Voice and Organ or Piano'.
Undated; dated 1838 via the preface.
The final work is the very scarce 1850 collection 'Clare's Psalmody. A Collection of the most Approved Psalms & Hymns [...] Arranged for the Organ or Piano Forte'.

Condition
In a half morocco binding, with marbled paper covered boards. Extensive rubbing and minor losses to back strip head and tail, joints, and board perimeters. Joint heads and tails starting, but firmly held. Lacking front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Stamp to first title page tail. Pages age toned due to paper type, with the odd spot or light handling mark. Pencil notations to final work.
