Leather Binding

In a full roan binding with blind stamping, a bespoke binding for Mrs Simon, 1837. 

Comprising the standard liturgy of the United Church of England and Ireland, with daily offices, sacramental rites, and the ordination services for bishops, priests, and deacons, together with the Book of Psalms.

Including a table of proper lessons and psalms, the calendar of the Church, prayers and thanksgivings for specific occasions, the order for morning and evening prayer.

Condition

In a full roan binding with blind stamping, a bespoke binding for Mrs Simon 1837. Externally, smart. Slight rubbing and bumping causing slight loss with rubbing and the odd small closed tear to roan at extremities, with one or two chips. Creasing to spine. One or two handling marks to boards. Rear hinge slightly trained, but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. pages bright and clean if typically age toned, with the odd spot, heavier to first and last few leaves.
