    Illustrated with four folding engraved plates to the rear. Collated, complete.

    A discussion of the railways, locomotive engines, and the Liverpool and Manchester railway by Count François Marie Guyonneau de Pambour, a French nobleman and Army engineer who was among the first to examine theoretical aspects of steam engines.

    Rebacked, with endpapers renewed. With the bookplate of Clarance M Warner to front pastedown.

    Condition

    Rebacked in half calf, with endpapers renewed. Light rubbing to boards, otherwise externally excellent. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned, with only the odd spot and light handling mark.
