    An anthology of five comedic plays by the Italian playwright, librarian, and magistrate, Alberto Nota.

    This volume includes 'L'Ammalato per Immaginazione', 'Il Nuovo Ricco', 'La Vedova in Solitudine', 'Il Filosofo Celibe', and 'La Lusinghiera'.

    Nota was a well known in his law profession, and for producing numerous Goldonian style comedies, included in this volume.

    Condition

    In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, a little rubbed. Minor bumping to the extremities. Small chips to the spine label. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some spotting. Ink inscription to the head of the title page.
