The fifth and final volume of this very scarce periodical, covering the months of January to June, 1833.

Illustrated with five engraved monochrome plates, two hand-coloured plates of flowers - with three flowers to each plates - and nine hand coloured fashion plates, depicting eighteen women in the fashions of the day.

This charming and very scarce periodical ran from January 1831, to July 1833, with the final volume only being present here.

Including short stories, poems, and brief informative articles, with titles including 'The Confession of Corraphine' by Miss M. L. Beevor, and a sonnet by R. Shelton Mackenzie

With a contemporary inscription, dated 1867, to a front blank.

A beautifully illustrated work.

Condition

In a half calf binding, with rubbing to spine head and tail. Front hinge strained, but firmly held. Inscription to a front blank. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned, with instances of spotting throughout, most concentrated to pages surrounding monochrome plates at the centre of the work.
