Bound in half cloth with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, rubbing to the boards, wear to the extremities, and chipping to the cloth to the spine, and rear joint starting. Bookplate of 'Doxsey' to the front pastedown with the odd minor spot to the endpapers. Rear hinge weak after pp. 417. Internally, the odd page starting with pp. 385-416 tender. Pages bright and generally clean with only the odd minor spot and handling mark.
