In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A small amount of loss of paper to the tail of the front board. Small chips to the rear joint. Boards are lightly age-toned. Small tears to the head and tail of the joints and to the tail of the spine. Ink to the spine. Hinges are starting. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with scattered spots and handling marks. Front endpaper and title page are working loose. Closed tear to the tail of leaf B2.
