A smart French pocket-sized set of poetical and dramatic works of leading authors, all of whom were active during the nineteenth century; Casimir Delavigne, Alphonse de Lamartine, Charles Augustin Saint-Beuve, and Charles Hubert Millevoye.

'Oeuvres Completes de C. Delavigne', published in 1831, comprising of 'Theatre'.

'Oeuvres d'Alphonse de Lamartine', published in 1833, comprising of 'Harmoines'. 

'Oeuvres d'Alphonse de Lamartine', published in 1833, comprising of 'Meditations'. 

'Les Enfans d'Edouard', by Casimir Delavigne, published in 1833.

'Poesies de Sainte-Beuve', published in 1834, comprising of 'Vie, Poésies et Pensées de Joseph Delorme' and 'Les Consolations'.

'Oeuvres d'Alphonse de Lamartine', published in 1836, Volume III only, comprising of 'Jocelyn' and 'Poesies Nouvelles'.

'Oeuvres de Millevoye', published in 1837.

Condition

In a quarter calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with some rubbing to the boards and spines. Minor bumping to the extremities. Tail of the spine of 'Lamartine, Jocelyn' is chipped and lifting to the rear joint, crack to the tail of the front joint. Paper to the boards is faded. Spines are a little discoloured. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with some spotting. Tide mark to the first few pages of 'Delavigne, Theatre', ink inscription to the head of the title page. Ink inscription to the head of the title of 'Les Enfans d'Edouard'. Tide mark to the first few pages of 'Millevoye', ink inscription to the head of the title.
