Volume twelfth. Containing issues no. 316, Saturday August 29th, 1829 to no. 342, Saturday February 27th, 1830. Scarce work. Illustrated with a frontispiece, one folding plate, and numerous in-text images. Collated complete. An interesting snapshot of the scientific and technological developments of this period towards the end of the Industrial Revolution. with a detailed index to the rear.
Condition
Bound in half calf with marbled boards. Externally, sound with light rubbing and wear to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Light age toning to the extremities. A newspaper article pasted to the reverse of the folding plate with sympathetic repairs made using tape.
