Volume I, Vanua Levu, Fiji, offers geological and physical descriptions of the islands. Illustrated with two folding lithographs and five plates.

Volume II, Plant-Dispersal, examines the movement of seeds and flora across Pacific islands. Illustrated with five maps, a frontispiece, and a number of figures.

Collated, complete.

In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Boards bright, with back strips lightly age toned, and bumps to back strip head and tail. Inscription to volume II front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright, with only the odd spot. Majority of gatherings unopened to heads.
